Popstar Christina Aguilera is the latest celebrity to have fallen for the size zero trend in Hollywood. The blonde bombshell once famed for her curvy figure looked emaciated during a recent
public appearance.
Celebrating the New Year in Las Vegas, the 29-year-old singer cut a dramatically slim frame, reported Daily Mail online.
Joining friend Nicole Richie at Lavo nightclub, Aguilera looked skinnier than ever as she stepped out in a black slip dress.
The singer, who has a 23-month-old son Max, has said in the past she hates dieting, but her slimmer shape may be due to her forthcoming film Burlesque, in which she plays a burlesque dancer.
She said last year, "I don't diet because I can't. I love my food too much. I can't even cut down on carbs because that's so hard for me."
Both stars were hosting New Year's Eve parties in nightclubs in adjacent casinos.
Nicole and Christina became friends after giving birth to their first children with 24 hours of each other in January 2008.
