Hollywood actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has opted for the popular post break-up cure by chopping off her shiny locks for a shorter hairdo.

Whisperer star, who announced her break-up from long-term boyfriend Jamie Kennedy earlier this month, was spotted showing off her wavy bob in Los Angeles over the weekend, reported

"It seems Jennifer is like many other women and wants to move on with her life by getting a new hairdo. Gone are the long tumbling locks which have now been replaced by a more sophisticated style," said a source.
Although she is moving on with her life after the relationship ended, the 31-year-old actress recently said she hates being single.
