Poole, was booed every time he touched the ball during Chelsea's 2-1 win against Burnley on Sunday, after he was accused of having an extra-marital affair with Perroncel - his wife's best friend and the former partner of fellow England defender Wayne Bridge.
Terry remains tight-lipped about the alleged affair with Miss Perroncel, who became pregnant during their relationship. Reportedly, Terry arranged a clandestine abortion for her at a private clinic. It's alleged that Terry has been consistently cheating on her Toni, during their 11-year relationship.
Rumours are strife of his captaincy for England team in danger for the upcoming South Africa Worldcup 2010. Though sources claim that there's no reason for any such action as the scandal is a private matter.
Terry, who plays with Chelsea FC is extremely upset with the revelations. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, has assured the club's total support in this difficult time, with no doubts on his career with the club.
