Newly weds, MP Shashi Tharoor and entrepreneur Sunanda Pushkar — both having married for the third time — turned up all glowing on Friday evening at the India Habitat Centre to host their Delhi reception.
Married last month in Kerala, the couple had already hosted one reception in Dubai
while on their way to their honeymoon in Spain. A host of Delhi’s political heavyweights, including Vice president Md Hamid Ansari, Delhi CM Sheila Dixit, former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani and PM Manmohan Singh’s wife, Gursharan Kaur, braved the rain to greet the Capital’s new power couple. Wearing a light pink sari, Sunanda wore mehandi up to her elbows.
Tharoor wore an off-white, no-frills
