Pune Warriors' Wayne Parnell hugs teammate Manish Pandey after claiming a wicket against Kings XI Punjab during the IPL Twenty20 match in Mohali.
With their maiden season in the IPL effectively ending with two league matches left, the Pune Warriors are trapped in a tunnel with no light at the end of it. Their remote hopes of reaching the play-offs also ended with Monday's defeat against Deccan Chargers  - their eights loss of the
    tournament.

However, the Warriors haven't yet been able to figure out what has gone wrong. "There's so much happening and we are in the middle of everything. We are travelling and playing. It's tough to sit down and look back and figure out what went wrong with us," said wicketkeeper Robin Uthappa.

"With new teams, these things happen. You can't really pinpoint right now. There is a year before the next IPL. We will introspect and come back a better side next year."
