Senior BJP leader and the party's prime ministerial candidate L K Advani today refused to comment on the hurling of a slipper at him earlier in the day at Katni.

When reporters wanted to talk to him after his address to the election meeting, Advani said that they should only listen to him and not ask any question.

When reporters asked him to comment on the Katni incident, Advani kept quiet and moved away. He said that based on the popular support the BJP and its allies were getting during the campaign, he was confident that the NDA would get the majority and form the next government.

Advani said that after coming to power, the NDA would introduce identity cards to all citizens in the country and this will help to identify Bangladeshis who had come from outside.
