The Mandi Gobindgarh and Sirhind police registered two separate cases in which parents of two minor girls alleged that two miscreants had abducted their daughters, after luring them with proposal to marry.
Lakhwinder Singh lodged a complaint with the Mandi Gobindgarh police that he
apprehended that Inderjit, a resident of Ludhiana, had abducted her daughter. In another case, Manpreet Kaur complained to the Sirhind police that Ranbir Singh had lured her minor daughter with the promise of marriage.
The police registered a case against both the suspects under Sections 363 and 366 of the IPC.
