Academy award winner Hollywood actor Sir Ben Kingsley has said that he will not helm his next movie Taj as he finds direction a very difficult job.

"We have not
yet decided the director for the film. The script has arrived four days ago. It's a new script. I would not like to direct. I find it very difficult," Kingsley told reporters here at International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2009.

Kingsley, who shot to fame with his role in Richard Attenborough's Film Gandhi, is in Goa to take part in IFFI, which began on November 23.

He said Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play Mumtaz in the movie if she approves the script. Kingsley's real life wife, Brazilian actor Daniela Lavender, will play Persian princess Kandahari Begum, Shah Jahan's first wife in the movie.

"I suppose it is very foolish or very brave attempt to do a movie on Shaha Jahan," he quipped responding to a question.

"If I can show him in a human way, if I can show him with responsibility, if I can portray him as a man amongst us, I might be able to add to many explanations on how Taj was built," he added.

Terming Taj Mahal as a "remarkable monument of love," Kingsley said he would like to offer it to the modern world.

The actor said he will be looking out for finances for his 25 to 27 million dollar project in India. "During my few days in India, we have to raise funds. It's not fully financed," he said.
