    As awards continue to rain on the World Champion Indian cricket team, state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) on Monday announced cash price and out of turn promotion for three members of the victorious team, who are its employees. ONGC management announced out of turn promotion and a
    cash prize of Rs. 20 lakh each for Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli and Munaf Patel, the company said in a press statement in New Delhi.

    "The contribution of Gautam, Virat and Munaf brought the world cup home after 28 years," ONGC chairman and managing director A K Hazarika said.

    He said Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli and Munaf Patel contributed significantly in the country's journey to the finals and "on the day of the finals, all three played outstandingly to fulfill India's dream to be the World Champions."
