John Abraham has replaced Harman Baweja in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's forthcoming venture Chenab Gandhi. It has nothing to do with the latter's Victory debacle, rather his dates clashed with Ashutosh Gowariker's What's Your Rashee? Initially, Chenab Gandhi was scheduled to go on the floors in December but after it was delayed, Harman faced the date issues.

Moreover, Anees Bazmee’s film It’s My Life has taken longer than expected to complete and Harman is currently shooting for the film in Delhi.

Informs the source, “Bhansali had mentioned the subject of Chenab Gandhi to John when the actor had gone to meet Bhansali’s sister, Bela Saigal. Now that Harman is not part of the film, Bhansali approached John.”

The film will go on the floors in the first week of April.
