Till now Katrina Kaif has worked mostly in masala movies and ladyluck has been on her side. But it seems the actress wants to go beyond it and explore more. That is probably the reason why Kat is turning producer by remaking a French film and taking up a challenging role. But the actress doesn't want to disclose the name of the film she is remaking.

"I don’t want to name it because then it will immediately be picked up by others and they’ll get down to making their own versions of the film before I have even finalised the deal. I’m very serious about the film and my negotiations are on. And if all goes well, I’ll have the rights with me very soon," says an excited Katrina.

It's clear that the actress doesn't want to wait indefinitely for her dream role when she herself can create it.

“It is very important for me to find vehicles that will challenge me as an actor. And I am willing to create opportunities for myself.”
