Actress Angelina Jolie and singer Shakira have reportedly become good friends after finding a common ground working for the United Nations.
Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the UN’s refugee agency and the Latino star is a representative for UNICEF (United Nations Children’s
Fund).
Both the stars have established charity organisations to contribute to the respective fields they are associated with.
A pal of Jolie’s said that it is surprising that the two did not become friends earlier because they have a lot in common.
“They have so much in common, we can't believe they didn't become buddies sooner,” Contactmusic quoted the friend, as saying.
The friend also added that Shakira has set up children’s charity in her home country, Colombia, and that the two exchange tips on fundraising.
“Shakira loves kids and runs a children's charity in her home country so they have been swapping tips on fundraising,” the friend added.
