Looks like Imran Khan will have to wait a while longer before he gets any more offers on action thrillers, remarks my
Rapchik Rajni as she strolls into my den.
She
tells me that the actor, who hit a rough patch with movies like
Kidnap and
Luck, is rethinking his strategy post the success of his recent rom-com,
I Hate Luv Storys.
Rajni claims that in the last two weeks, Imran has been flooded with over two dozen scripts… And no prizes for guessing that they’re all romantic comedies.
However, the young actor is in no hurry, for he’s taking his time to read them one by one. It will be at least another two months before Imran has gone through all these scripts and short-lists the couple he will eventually act in, says Rajni.
Kewl, for if you ask me, I didn’t think very highly of the scripts of Kidnap and Luck either. Tsk tsk.
