Jayalalithaa congratulates Modi on his victory

Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa Thursday greeted her Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi as the BJP was poised to retain power in the state.
Jayalalithaa said in a statement that she had spoken to Modi over telephone and congratulated him for his "thumping victory".
Modi
thanked Jayalalithaa for her good wishes, the statement said.
