Aussie singer Peter Andre is said to be suing his ex-wife Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan for over 300,000 pounds in damages.
Andre, 36, is suing Jordan, 31, for accusing him of
sleeping around behind her back and also for exaggerating his involvement in her son Harvey’s life.
The singer is not the only one suing the former glamour model, as his manager Claire Powell has also decided to take legal action against her for insinuating on the Graham Norton Show that she had a fling with Andre.
They’re also both seeking injunctions against Jordan to prevent her from ever repeating her claims. “Pete will not stand for Kate’s lies,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
“She may be the mother of his children but he won’t stand for her vile untruths. He does not want his kids growing up and reading disgusting lies about their father on the internet so he needed to set the record straight for posterity. It is not about the money - that is neither here nor there for him - it is the principle. He adores Harvey and views the boy as his own son - he would see him all the time if he could. And as for suggestions he’s involved with anyone new, especially Claire, it is utterly ridiculous,” the source added.
