Government on Monday said 128 incidents of ground ceasefire and 43 air space violations have been committed along the Line of Control by Pakistan in last four years.

"03, 21, 77 and 27 incidents of ground ceasefire violation have been committed in 2006, 07, 08 and until
November 25 this year respectively by Pakistan," Defence Minister AK Antony said in a reply to a Lok Sabha query.

The minister added that 43 incidents of air space violations had taken place in the same period with 21
incidents taking place in 2006.

Antony said ceasefire violations are taken up with Pakistani military authorities during flag meetings and weekly
talks between the Director Generals of Military Operations of the two countries.

In reply to another query, the minister said that after a Committee under Cabinet Secretary considered all the
aspects of One Rank One Pension issue, the proposal was not found administratively feasible to be implemented as such.

"However, several other recommendations by the Committee to substantially improve pensionary benefits of
jawans and commissioned officers have been made, which have been accepted by the Government," Antony added.

These measures include removal of linkage of full pension from 33 years of service, revision of Lt General
pensions after carving out a separate pay scale for them and removal of cap on war injury element of pension.
