Deccan Chargers to challenge RCB in their own den
After winning three games in a row, last year's runners-up Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered a dip in form with back-to-back losses, pushing them down to sixth on the points table. So, they will have to make the most when they face the bottom-placed Deccan Chargers on Sunday.

    This year,
teams have got off to good starts but have not been able to maintain the momentum in the second part of the innings. Royal Challengers faced that problem in the previous game against the Kings XI in Bangalore. With Chris Gayle going great guns, RCB, at 126 for one in 15 overs, looked set to post a huge total, but lost the plot once he was dismissed.

Virat Kohli's return to form should have solved some problems in the middle order for RCB, who seem to be heavily dependent on Gayle.

It will be interesting to see if Daniel Vettori would follow Kumar Sangakkara's footsteps by sitting out to accommodate Sri Lanka legend Muttiah Muralitharan, considering they already have a left-arm spinner in K Appanna. It will also be a toss-up between Tillakaratne Dilshan and Andrew McDonald.

Deccan Chargers' coach, Darren Lehmann, said, "The wicket looks like it will have some pace and bounce", which could tilt the choice in favour of paceman McDonald.

For the Chargers, the focus will again be on showing discipline on the field.
