Returning officers on Friday recommended repolling at around 45 booths in nine Lok Sabha constituencies in Rajasthan following reports of booth capturing and damage to EVMs during the general elections in the state.
The officers after scrutinising the reports made the recommendations
directly to the Chief Election Commissioner, an election department spokesman said in Jaipur.
Forty five booths (tentative) of nine constituencies where repoll has been recommended includes Bharatpur, Dholpur-Karuali, Dausa, Tonk-Sawaimadhopur, Pali, Barmer, Rajsamand, Jhalawar-Baran, and Alwar, he said.
