The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad detained another person from Vapi town in Gujarat, in connection with the Malegaon blast, police said on Saturday.
"The ATS team had recently questioned the person, a resident of Vaghai town from the neighbouring Dang district, in connection with the
Malegaon blast and has detained him," district police sources said.
The man, who has been working in Vapi for last 4-5 months, used to earlier work at an ashram in Ahwa, Dang.
Dang district was in the news for attacks on members of the Christian community by right wing groups.
The ATS is exploring the possibility of booking the nine arrested persons, including a serving army official and a Sadhvi, under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
