The swearing-in of a new ministry in Maharashtra is expected to take place November 7, sources said.
It was expected that the swearing-in would take place in Mumbai on Frtiday after Congress and NCP resolved their differences over portfolio sharing in New Delhi.
However, state
secretariat sources said the preparations for the swearing-in, which had begun in the afternoon, were slowed down by evening after reports that the event may not take place tomorrow.
There is no substance to reports that the swearing-in has been put off following the advice by a godman to a top leader that anytime after Friday (tomorrow) was auspicious for the swearing-in ceremony, the sources said.
