It's raining films on box-office today. Although, Mumbai and Pune would be deprived of this lethal combination of masala and offbeat films. Check out today's releases...
Rahul Bose is upset but is trying to keep a brave front by sounding amused about the weird promtional strategy of the makers of Before the Rains. Despite playing the lead role in the film, his picture didn't appear on the hoardings and film posters till a day before
yesterday.

The film directed by Santosh Sivan releases today (except in Mumbai and Pune).

The picture of American actor Linus Roache was used along with Nandita Das in hoardings and film posters.

Rahul confirms, "I didn't mind them using Linus and Nandita's face in the US because they wanted to position the film as a love story but when they used the same picture in India as well, I was hopping mad! Normally, I have an image clause in all my contracts which states how exactly my image should be positioned but for Before The Rains I didn't, as the film was handled by my American manager and the producer was American too."

The actor however insists that everything has been sorted out with the makers. "After I spoke to them, I realised that their intentions were not vindictive. They told me that these were the only artworks available. Now they have released posters with my solo pictures."

Well Rahul, we are happy that the issue was resolved before the rains started pouring!
