Mariah Carey is all set to team up with Westlife to record a new, exclusive number.
Carey had last worked with Kian, Nicky, Mark and Shane in 2000 for
Against All Odds, which had
rocketed to the top of music charts.
"They're very exciting artists and I love them," the News of the World quoted her, as saying. However, the 39-year-old singer wants the record to be released only in the UK.
She said: "I want it to be the next single here and different to the rest of the world…I can't wait to do it."
Commenting about her ‘diva’ status Carey said: "This diva tag is never going to go away but it doesn't bother me anymore." She added: "I didn't ask for anything."
