More than 200 hundred women in West Delhi were screened for breast cancer on Saturday for free. Roko Cancer, a London-based non-government organization, had a fully equipped mobile breast cancer
detection van parked inside a local hospital near Tilak Nagar to conduct early breast
cancer detection camp for local women.

Apart from providing technical facilities such as mammography, the camp also provided guidance on how to conduct self-physical examination and also counselling on how to deal in case tested positive.

"Cancer is one of the biggest killers of our generation, but early detection and awareness can help deal with the
disease a great deal," said Isha Bhandari, director operations-India, Roko Cancer.

"The first reaction to the word cancer is fear. We should not fear cancer, but fight it," she added.
