A statement to diffuse the situation in the wake of announcement of a separate Telangana is likely to be issued by the government today.
An indication to this effect was available after a meeting of Union Ministers Pranab Mukherjee, P Chidambaram, A K Antony, M Veerappa Moily and
Political Secretary to Congress President Ahmed Patel.
