Scores of Tibetans on Saturday held a demonstration in protest against the Chinese crackdown in Tibet and the Beijing Olympics. More than 100 Tibetans gathered in New Delhi and paid tribute to those killed during the anti-China protests in Tibet and demanded autonomy for the Himalayan
region.

They participated in a unique 'Blood thumb impression' campaign.

"These impressions would be sent to United Nations and International Olympics Committee," a protester said.

"We will send the impressions to UN and International Olympics Committee. Since long time, we have been protesting in the capital and urging for official support of the Indian government.

"Our regional chapters in various countries like Taiwan, USA and most parts of Europe, have also been protesting against China and Beijing Olympics," said Tenzin Yangdon, Public Relations Secretary for Tibetan Youth Congress.

The Tibetans on Friday held protest at the Chinese embassy here and more the 100 of them were arrested.
