Katie Holmes, superstar Tom Cruise's wife, is exerting her influence in Hollywood to help best friend Victoria Beckham make it big in filmdom.
Homes is trying to set up a meeting between the former Spice Girl and two time Oscar winning director Steven Spielberg. The meeting is to take
place at Holmes' 28th birthday party.
Hollywood.com quoted a close friend of Holmes as saying: "Katie thinks Victoria has a real future as an actress but she wants her to start at the top. She's anxious to introduce her to every major power player in town. She and Tom may not have the power to create a new star by themselves but they know who does."
