To find a solution to the World Series Boxing franchise issue, PK Muralidharan Raja, the Indian Boxing Federation secretary, is visiting the World Women's Boxing Championships in Barbados. Problems for the World Series of Boxing (WSB) cropped up after Videocon, who were to sponsor the
Delhi franchise, opted out.

Raja will meet the International Boxing Federation chief Ching-Kuo Wu on Wednesday to discuss the matter.

Though Raja said Videocon has not officially pulled out of the series, there were issues that needed to be discussed with the AIBA (world boxing body) president. "But one thing is sure, we will have the fights as scheduled in November," said Raja.

The federation has also got feelers as regarding a new franchise for the team.

Though Raja does not want to give any specific name till everything is finalised with the world boxing body, he is hopeful of getting a sponsor.
