Actor Vivek Oberoi allegedly gatecrashed a party at Mannat, home of superstar Shah Rukh Khan last Saturday.
Sources at the party said Vivek annoyed the hosts and other guests
and left — that too, without the yellow bike that he came on. Shah Rukh had invited a few guests present at actors Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar’s birthday party at Aurus, a nightclub in Mumbai, to his home for an after party. A source, who was present at Mannat, said that Vivek showed up at the party right behind the other guests.
“He landed up uninvited at the party and this really annoyed the other guests. Gauri Khan (SRK’s wife) was overheard telling guests, ‘Who the hell has invited him’, and even told Shah Rukh to ‘throw the jerk out’. But the couple did not do so out of politeness.” The source added that the actor took to the dance floor and had the guests in splits because of his funny moves.
“He was making a complete fool of himself. No one was making conversation with him. Even the Bachchans, Abhishek and Aishwarya, kept their distance. In fact, when the actor decided to leave the party, he couldn’t start his bike and had to leave it at Mannat.”
Vivek is presently on a religious pilgrimage to Sabarimala, Kerala. His friends insist that he was invited to the party and that he has partied at Mannat earlier too.
