Welcoming the revocation of NSA against Varun Gandhi, the Rajasthan unit of BJP today said the recommendation of the Uttar Pradesh advisory board is "triumph of truth over untruth".
"UP Chief Minister Mayawati had got Varun booked under the act on false charges...The revocation of NSA
against Varun is triumph of truth over untruth," BJP state president Om Mathur said in a press release, adding that the step is "democracy over autocracy".
In another statement, BJP spokesman and senior leader Kailash Nath Bhat said the judiciary has taught a lesson to those who ridiculed democracy.
