Cheryl Cole is reportedly fighting fears that her husband Ashley may fall prey to John Terry’s alleged mistress Vanessa Perroncel.
The
Girls Aloud singer was said to have warned the
Chelsea star to “keep away from that woman” after rumours of Perroncel’s affairs with several Chelsea stars emerged.
Friends claimed Cole wants to keep the distance between her husband and Perroncel, especially after Ashley’s alleged cheating past that was still “very fresh” in her mind.
“All the WAGs fear Vanessa might have made a play for their husband in the past. It would be understandable if Cheryl felt the same,” the Daily Star quoted a pal as saying.
The pal added: “This situation has opened up old wounds for Cheryl. She’s forgiven Ashley but wants to keep him out of trouble.
“He’s friends with Terry and she doesn’t want him in a crowd of lads drinking and chatting up girls. She’d probably like it if he quit Chelsea."
