Three robbers targeted a home in Vasundhara locality of Ghaziabad Tuesday, fleeing with cash and jewelry worth about Rs.250,000. According to the police, the three entered Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) officer Pradeep Srivastava's residence as construction labourers when his wife
was alone at home. They soon overpowered her. Pointing a gun at her, they took keys from her and took all valuables from the home and left.

A labourer painting the home later came to her rescue, and she informed her husband and the police.

She told the police that the three criminals took Rs.55,000 in cash along with jewellery worth about Rs.200,000 to Rs.250,000.

Senior Superintendent of Police Akhil Kumar visited the spot and gave the policemen instructions for the probe. "We are investigating the case and would solve it promptly," he said.
