The 12-year-old son of a businessman from Wadivhare village in Nashik was kidnapped by a group of unidentified people who are demanding a ransom amount of Rs 20 lakh, police said on Friday.
Akash, son of businessman Shankar Sapkale was kidnapped on Thursday evening when he was playing
near his house, police said.Sapkale later received a telephone call from kidnappers stating that his son was in their possession, police said adding they were demanding a ransom of Rs 20 lakh.
A search had been launched to look for the boy, police said adding further investigations were on.
