India's match against England was an example of a well-balanced side dominating the opponent in every department. This win should also convince the team management about playing five bowlers for the rest of the tournament.

MS Dhoni has to realise that he, coming in at No 6, and Irfan Pathan at 7, is a decent batting line-up with the depth to win a major competition.

Dhoni is not just a keeper who can bat, as a batsman he can worry other teams. There is no need to waste Pathan as an opener, rather it would be wise to have him at No 7 and make the most of it.

India shouldn't be worrying about batting. Rather, they should plan their bowling and must keep in mind that for winning a World Cup their bowling must be in striking form.

The same goes for Pakistan. In the Super Eights, they will be playing in Colombo, where the pitches will get spinner friendly as the tournament goes on. That should mean they can do away with a fast bowler and add a spinner.

Lower order blues
Pakistan will need to concentrate more on their batting. Their top order is looking good but the lower order will need to plan more. In the match against New Zealand, everyone came in and tried to hit fours and sixes.

If you take four-five singles and look for a boundary, you will be scoring eight to nine runs an over. In doing this, the bowlers will find it tough to adjust their line due to constant rotation by the batters.

The biggest positive in this Pakistan team is that after a long time everyone is fighting it out and the team looks active. This is the biggest positive and the captain will need to ensure that it stays on till the end.
