7kg heroin confiscated at Pak border

The Border Security Force (BSF) seized 7kg of heroin worth R35 crore after a brief exchange of fire with Pakistani smugglers near border outpost (BOP) at Chanmulla in the Amritsar sector on Wednesday. A release issued by the BSF on Thursday claimed that its personnel on duty at Chanmulla
outpost noticed some movement on the Indian territory close to the zero line. After being challenged by the BSF personnel, the Pakistan intruders opened fire at them.
