Sandeep, alias Sunny, one of the four accused in the ASI murder case, is still absconding. All the other accused, including former district SAD general secretary Ranjit Singh Rana, Gurbeer, alias Beera, and Dharamveer, were arrested within 12 hours of the murder.
The police had got a
tip-off a few days back that Sandeep was near Panjwar village. They had even cordoned off the entire area, but could not locate Sandeep.
Amritsar police commissioner Ram Singh said, "We are on the lookout for Sandeep, and he will be arrested soon."
