Majithia to honour party's poll winners

State revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia will on Friday honour members of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) who have been elected to the zila parishad, panchayat samiti and panchayats in the Qadian assembly constituency.


The function is at the historical Gurdwara Chhota Ghallughara at Kahnuwan. Former Punjab minister Sewa Singh Sekhwan of the SAD on Tuesday announced the programme here.

Majithia will also plant a tree at Jathedar Ujjagar Singh Sekhwan College of Nursing and Medical Science and lay the foundation stones of sub-tehsil building, workstations for Patwaris, and Rajiv Gandhi Sewa Kender at Kahnuwan.
