Three including two women hled for immoral trafficking

Amritsar: The Amritsar police have arrested three persons including two women identified as Manpreet Kaur, a resident of Toot Sahib Bazaar, Rajan Kumar, a resident of Bhagtanwala Gate and Simranjit Kaur, a resident of Batala, on the charges of immoral trafficking.

The accused were arrested during a raid conducted by the police on the basis of secret information that Manpreet Kaur used to run a prostitution centre.

Inspector Arun Sharma, SHO, Sultanwind Police Station, said that the accused have been booked under sections 3, 4, 5 Immoral Trafficking Act at Sultanwind Police Station.

Govt to instal 286 deep tubewells in Kandi area
