A girl, 15, was kidnapped on Sunday from Badhni Kalan in this district and the police have registered a case against a young man.
The girl's brother lodged the complaint with the senior superintendent of police, assistant sub-inspecter Balwinder Singh of the Badhni Kalan police station
has confirmed.
The complainant has stated that his family had found his minor sister missing on returning from work.
He said the suspect could force her into marriage. The police have registered the case under Sections 363 (punishment for kidnapping) and 366 (abducting woman to compel her for marriage) of the Indian Panel Code at Badhni Kalan.
