Leopard injures 3 in Abohar village

Three people were injured in a leopard attack on Tuesday in Abohar subdivision of Fazilka district.
In the afternoon, the wild animal was spotted at Gumjal village near Abohar, next to the interstate border with Rajasthan. "The police sounded an alert in the neighbourbood had moved
into the area," said AS Chahal, senior superintendent of police at Fazilka.

After the big cat injured villagers Babu, Ugarsain, and Bularam and they were sent to hospital, the wildlife department deployed an eight-member team to catch it. "The team is armed with cage and nets," said divisional forest officer (wildlife) M Saudagar.
