The shocking incident of the rape of a minor girl in a red-beacon car came to light on Friday evening. The girl, 17, was admiited to the Bathinda Civil Hospital. She has told the police that she was abducted and raped in a Toyota Innova car with red-beacon (official flare) on top. She was picked
up from Bibiwala Chowk by two people on Thursday, who took her to a field, where three people raped her repeatedly.
The culprits left her outside the local bus stand, from where she went to her home. Her parents then brought her to the Civil Hospital. She told the media that she had been raped repeatedly for the last one day near a tubwell in a field. She had left the house to visit the market.
When she did not return, the parents reported the matter to the police on Thursday night. The police advised the family to wait till Friday morning. The victim's treatment is on and no case is registered yet.
