In an effort to raise awareness among people about the ill-effects of drugs, Bhartiya Kisan Union (Rajewal) today announced to launch an anti-drug campaign in Punjab.
In the three month campaign, activists of the farmers' organisation will visit villages and ask the senior villagers
to stop the younger generation from becoming addicted to drugs, BKU ((Rajewal) chief Balbir Singh Rajewal said here.

The name of all those involved in drug trade would be made public, he said.

"As a result of drug menace, criminal activities like rape, robbery and murder incidents are on the rise in the state. Therefore, it is imperative to launch such a social campaign to motivate youths towards development activities," he said.
