Joginder Pal Jain, who was elected from the Moga assembly constituency on the Shiromani Akali Dal ticket recently, took oath as a member of the Punjab assembly on Monday.
A Vidhan Sabha spokesman said assembly speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal administered the oath of office and secrecy

to Jain in his chamber. Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia were present on the occasion.
