Straddled with a declining sex-ratio in his state, Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would flag off a march to highlight the 'Save Girl Child' campaign on November 18.
The march, which would begin on the occasion of foundation stone laying ceremony of Kalpana Chawla Medical
College in Karnal, is aimed at spreading awareness regarding the consequences of female foeticide in five villages of the district every day, an official spokesperson said.

There has been a considerable improvement in the sex-ratio in the district, he said.

The sex-ratio in the district has increased to 850 females per thousand males till September 2012 as against 813 during July 2011.
