Haryana Roadways driver Narinder Singh was killed on the spot when an Ambala depot bus was being driven out of the workshop early in the morning.
Locals informed that the driver came under the wheels when a group of employees, who were protesting outside the depot, opposed plying of
the bus.

They said that the workers had started assembling at the gates since 4.00 am and the bus escorted by the administration was coming out at 5 am.

Sources have informed that following the mishap, the irated workers went on rampage and damaged the vehicles of deputy commissioner of police (DCP) and Baldev Nagar SHO.

Later demanding registration of case against DCP and GM Roadways, they assembled at civil hospital and were waiting for their senior leaders to arrive and decide the course of agitation.
