A Gurgaon resident was shot at by an unidentified gang of phone snatchers at the Atal Park in the town on Sunday evening.
The victim, Deepak, is reportedly a student of polytechnic and had come to the town to meet a friend.
Originally hailing from Uttarakhand, Deepak received
a bullet injury in foot and was admitted at Trauma Centre.
He is reportedly out of danger but refused to speak with the media.
Sources in the police department said Deepak was moving around the park with his friend when a group of three to four youngsters asked him to hand over his mobile phone.
As Deepak resisted, the snatchers fired at him, but his friend escaped unhurt.
Thereafter, a police team rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area to nab the assailants.
