Doaba College all decked up to welcome Shahrukh Khan

To pay a tribute to the alma mater of legendary King of Romance, late Yash Chopra, the King of Khan would visit Doaba College on Wednesday along with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma as promotional event of Yash Chopra's last directorial venture 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'.

The alma mater, Doaba College is all set and decked up to welcome Shahrukh Khan who would visit the college for half an hour to address the students of the same college where Yash Chopra spent a large part of his formative years. The Jab Tak Hai Jaan team would come after attending the press conference at Club Cabbana.

The college is festooned with Yash Chopra's posters and photographs of his last visit to the college on the walls. The girls are all the way excited to just get a glimpse of Shahrukh Khan while boys are keyed up to check two hot actresses Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

The anticipation can be seen through one of the girl who rushed back from the hospital. Sukhdeep a student of B.Sc Medical first year shared, "I was hospitalized due to food pipe blockage but the moment I came to know that Shahrukh is coming to our college, I just took off my drip and got discharged from the hospital. The doctor suggested me to take rest for atleast two days".
The students are excited to get a chance to get clicked with their favourite film stars.
Shahrukh Khan would also interact with the students and would answer a few students to their queries.

The sources said the Shahrukh wanted to visit the college once and meet the students of Chopra's alma mater from where he did his graduation.

While other alumnus of the college comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi and Chacha Raunki Ram alias Balwinder Vicky would also be performing on stage.

Meanwhile, the security of both inside and outside of the venues where film stars to visit has been beefed up by local police as well as by private securities arranged by the stars.
