Mandeep Singh, a Kakkon resident, was, on Wednesday, sentenced to life for murdering his brother Amanpreet Singh by the court of district and sessions judge G K Dhir. Amanpreet's body was recovered from his house on October 24, 2011. He was killed follwing a property dispute within the family.
On the complaint of their brother-in-law, the police had registered a case against Mandeep. The court has also been fined Rs. 10,000.
