A 42-year-old NRI has alleged that a man living in her locality assaulted her late Tuesday night in Shiv Nagar locality, after she objected to advances the man made to her friend. The accused Sumit Kumar had reportedly been engaged to the NRI's friend six years ago. However, the wedding was called off for some reason.
