The school education department has provided a separate link on its website where employees working in different government schools can register their grievances for early redressal. Director general school education Kahan Singh Pannu revealed this on Thursday.
On the department's
website, ssapunjab.org, a separate link has been provided under the head 'grievance removal cell', where teachers have to fill a form lodge complaints and grievances.

"The facility will save a lot of time of teachers working in different parts of the state. They will need not make rounds of offices," Pannu said.

First the credentials of the complainant are verified and he/she will issued a registration number. The complainant can use the registration number to check the status of his grievances, he added.

For the purpose, a separate grievance removal cell has been formed to keep track of the complaints, verification of complaints and routing of complaints to the respective offices, he added.

"It has been seen that teachers waste a lot of time for redressal of their grievances. We are trying to resolve their service matters-related complaints at the office level thus saving their time, so that they can concentrate on teaching," Pannu said.
