With the whole controversies about Aditya Pancholi’s son, Sooraj Pancholi abetting actor Jiah Khan to take the drastic step of suicide, veteran actor totally supports the newcomer.

“Sooraj is utterly innocent and I declare and admit it in media that I completely support him not because he is playing debut with my daughter but actually he is above suspicion and a sweet soft-spoken child”, said the master of action genre, Suneil Shetty who was here in the city at Lovely Professional University for the promotion of his Friday action thriller, “Enemmy”.

Defending him and sustaining his point, he said, “The guy is just 21 and his image is getting tainted and he is facing the hell situation at jails as a criminal which is not acceptable. Though things first came against him, but now truth itself is taking its lay. It is now in the media that the suicide notes are all fake”, said adding that things would take shape with the time.

He added, “Jiah was a very beautiful and much liked actress in the media industry but don’t know why she got so helpless”.

When asked if he was reconsidering the decision to launch her daughter Athiya Shetty with Sooraj Pancholi in their remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1983 film, ‘Hero’ that starred Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri, he completely denied the fact.

“It doesn’t mean that if Sooraj is under the scanner I will ask my daughter not to work with her. The incident will not affect their bollywood debut. It will not affect our project as this may happen to anyone. I sympathize with Jiah’s mother as nobody could bear such tragedy with their children”, he added.

Suneil was here with the director of the movie Ashu Trikha and actress Yuvika Chaudhary.

Having a strong foothold in film industry and entrepreneurship, action star Suneil Shetty aka Anna said that he loves to do action movies.

“It is a tough yet interesting genre to always play. The action in this movie is best linked with political thriller and relationships where a cop has to deal with both tht things together”, he said.

He added that he love to do almost all action sequences himself. “I ask the producer and director to first explain me the sequence and ask for safety for the same to perform”.

The film is set to hit theatres on June 21. Trikha informed about different aspects of his forthcoming film ‘Enemmy’-a cop action drama, and briefed how he has tried to explore the best of the characters enacted by Mithun Chakraborty, Suneil Shetty, Johnny Lever, Yuvika Chaudhary, Mimoh Chakraborty and others. The film is produced by Yogeeta Bali Chakraborty and music by Bappa Lahiri and Gourav Dasgupta.
